Vanessa Berben

Vanessa Berben

Vanessa Berben is a self-confessed Shakespeare Nut killing time in the Washington DC area while she plots her comeback to the west coast. She received her BA in English Literature at Southern New Hampshire University, graduating with honors. In addition to her work with Simply-Showbiz.com she is an assistant editor at the Washington Independent Review of Books and a department editor and columnist at Denver’s The Donnybrook Writing Academy where she pens Donnybrook’s “Ask Alistair” – a joke “Miss Manner’s” column. When not subjecting the world to her spaz-induced opinions, she subjects her tiny doggies to handmade outfits commissioned off Etsy.

Stephanie Sharf

Stephanie Sharf

Stephanie Weiss Sharf is a Los Angeles native, attended Emerson College in Boston and graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in English and a Master’s in Library Science. She has been published in humor magazines and has been a stand-up comedian, neither of which paid much, so…Steph is basically known as a nerdy technical writer and editor. Steph lives in Canoga Park, CA where she keeps busy with freelance writing, swimming, reading, and working out. You can follow her on Twitter @stephshar or on Facebook as “Stephanie Sharf” in Canoga Park.

Tom Whitcomb

Tom Whitcomb

Tom Whitcomb was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, where he attended a high school that turns out juvenile delinquents as often as it turns out scholars. He moved it Chicago in 2009 to attend DePaul University, working towards a major in Screenwriting that will probably never be used and steadfastly maintaining his allegiance to the Milwaukee Brewers. He was blessed with the opportunity to work for The Onion’s entertainment subsidiary, The A.V. Club, which has been and continues to be a surreal experience. He lives in an apartment on Chicago’s north side with four other bachelors and spends far too much time on Reddit.

Sometimes, he performs stand-up comedy if he feels like it.
