Gloria Steinem (born March 25, 1934) the American feminist, journalist, and social and political activist who became nationally recognized as a leader of, and media spokeswoman for the women’s liberation movement from the late 1960s to today wins the Quote Of The Day.

Steinem founded Ms. Magazine in 1972, contributed to Esquire, New York Magazine, and The New York TImes Magazine, among others, and wrote numerous books on the issues of equality.
