Oprah’s 50 Cent Charade

Oprah recently had “50 Cent” on her OWN network show, Oprah’s Next Chapter, for a sit-down interview. Given the platform — and the responsibility that comes with that platform — I thought Oprah would ask about something other than what 50 Cent thinks of Oprah and Oprah’s comments about 50 Cent’s dog, whose name is Oprah.

But no. That was pretty much the gist of it.

The above quote was posted on Twitter on the heels of Tyler Clementi’s suicide.

Oprah didn’t want to ask anything about that, however. She was good.

But about the dog named Oprah, and the dog’s nanny…?…do tell.

The one redeeming part of the show popped up right away. Oprah accidentally called the rapper 50 cents. It was kind of awesome.
