The “Church” of Scientology recruited “bevy of beards” for Tom Cruise?

Holmes on Vanity Fair’s October 2012 cover

In the new issue of Vanity Fair, the magazine outlines how Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige helmed the “get Tom Cruise a compliant Scientology partner.”

Maureen Orth writes of the alleged “screening of” beards candidates who were told they were auditioning for a new “training film” and were asked a series of questions including “What do you think of Tom Cruise?”

Iranian-born actress and longtime Scientology follower Nazanin Boniadi was eventually dubbed the winner, but was later “dropped” after Tom reportedly told her “I get more love from an extra than I get from you.”

Apparently Scientology leaders chose Katie Holmes over Sofia Vergara and Scarlett Johansson, as well.

When star struck lamb Katie Holmes entered the picture — she was allegedly deemed a sufficient mate for Mr. Cruise.

Reps for Scientology denied the “vetting” and / or “auditioning” process described in full detail in VF and dismissed Orth’s sources as “disgruntled” former Scientology members.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that they were seeking women who would keep Tom’s alleged “gay ways” out of the public eye.

Is it just me or does anyone who has a differing opinion than those of the Church of Scientology seem to fall into the “disgruntled” category? Hmmmm.

Nothing fishy to see here. Literally. Tom has been known for leading a gay lifestyle — allegedly — behind wraps for decades now.
