“American Idol” Spoiler — Who was sent packing…
After nearly 90 million votes, Jessica and Phillip are season 11′s finalists. That means Joshua was voted off. “I want to win, but at this point we’re all winners,” Ledet, who hugged the judges while singing “It’s a Man’s World” to end the show, told PEOPLE on Wednesday. “I’m not gonna say I don’t care, but I will be just as happy about me winning or two of my friends, Phillip or Jessica.” That “beauty pagent” line never rings true — but they keep trying to get us to choke it down.
Chris Daughtry in 2012 — “American Idol was a weird thing” [VIDEO]
Chris Daughtry attended Chicago’s “Starburst Music With The Masters Series” benefitting “The VH1 Save The Music Foundation” on Friday where he shared the drawbacks of instant fame — like not being able to order food at a McDonald’s drive-thru without a lot of commotion! Daughtry’s latest album Break The Spell, which was certified gold within four weeks of its release, builds on the band’s reputation for melodic hooks and anthemic choruses while providing a powerful showcase for lead singer Chris Daughtry’s emotionally resonant voice. Over the past five years, Daughtry has scored four No. 1 hits, garnered four Grammy nominations,…
Wendy Williams says Jennifer Lopez can’t sing, has bone to pick with Meredith Baxter
On tonight’s Watch What Happens, talk-diva Wendy Williams totally dissed Jennifer Lopez. Andy Cohen asked Wendy who is the one pop-star she just doesn’t get. Her reply? “Jennifer Lopez gives good face but she can’t sing.” And who can disagree? Have you ever heard the demo JLo wished had never leaked? For that matter have you ever heard her sing live — anywhere? Thank the Lord for auto-tune! And speaking of Wendy dissing people, she said her interview with Meredith Baxter — just last week — was the WORST interview of her life. She said Meredith was “different” (I think…

He joins her father Jamie Spears in that role and will have control over several decision-making aspects of her personal life but not in managing her assets. Trawick was instrumental in setting up “The X Factor” deal.
“Against Me!” singer Tom Gabel comes out as transgender
Since last Friday, my musical world has been turned on its head. I mean, it’s one thing to wake up one day and find out that one of your favorite musicians has passed away (*pours out brass monkey for Adam Yauch*), but it’s another to find out that your all-time favorite musician, a guy who helped to form many of your political and sartorial (a lot of black, Adidas shoes, not much else) opinions, plans to live the rest of her life as a woman. Within the past week, I’ve had both happen. Since I was in high school, Gainesville,…

The web is blowing up with news that Adam Yauch, founding member of the seminal hip hop group The Beastie Boys, has lost his battle with cancer. Diagnosed in 2009 after a tumor was found in his salivary gland, Rolling Stone reports: “Yauch sat out the Beastie Boys’ induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, and his treatments delayed the release of the group’s most recent album, Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 2.
