Oscar producers: “We’re not nervous about Seth MacFarlane”
Seth MacFarlane has often come under fire from U.S. watchdog groups for making crude jokes.
The Parents Television Council regularly ranks Family Guy among their ‘worst prime-time shows for family viewing’ on the grounds that it may include gratuitous sex or obscene language.
So that’s why he’s hosting The Oscars.

So, I’ve been getting into Scream & Shout. It’s not a song I’d go looking for, but it popped up on Spotify and I thought I’d give it a go. And even though it’s pretty catchy in that artificial way where you just know its shelf life is about as long as a fresh bagel, it’s fun enough for pop-junk-background — and — I like the line “bring the action.”

Project Runway 11.4: Gunns and Roses
Burn, Baby, Burn…
Welcome to the jungle! … of the unconventional challenge. This is the one where our brave contestants have to make clothes out of things that ain’t cloth. Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum each introduce one element of unconventionality. The duality of the challenge, much like the duality of man, is symbolized by a Glade(TM) scented candle with two scents. I would carry one of those around for every time I wanted to inject my opinion: “If you want MY two scents….” Oh, how they would laugh! Andy Others lives for the hypothetical hilarity of audiences.
Anyhoo, sweet Tim harkens back to the unconventional flower shop, like the jasmine in a Glade(TM) scented candle. Meanwhile, Mistress Klum smacks down her preference for the unconventional hardware store, like the leather in a Glade(TM) scented candle. And if you think a jasmine and leather candle wouldn’t sell, then you’ve never been to Chelsea!
